Ninth Nordic Conference for English StudiesThis is the web site for the Ninth Nordic Conference for English Studies, organised by the Nordic Association for English Studies and the Department of English, University of Aarhus. The conference offered an opportunity for academics working in the Nordic area and those from further afield to meet and discuss research and university-level teaching in all aspects of the broad field of English Studies. The conference ran from 09:00 on Thursday May 27 and finished at 17:45 on Saturday May 29 2004, with the conference dinner being held on the Saturday evening. The conference proceedings will be published on CD-ROM during 2006. Papers which have been submitted for this publication are currently accessible in unedited form on this website The conference web site will be maintained for some time, with further conference-related announcements appearing occasionally.
