Linguistic Graduate School North organises the linguistic PhD programmes at the Aarhus School of Business, Aalborg University and the University of Aarhus by arranging monthly Project Meetings for PhD students and their supervisors, and hosting courses, seminars and other meetings in co-operation with the two other national graduate schools: The Graduate School in Language and Communication (http://www.sdu.dk/Hum/graduateschool/) and GradEast - Graduate School EAST in Linguistics (http://www.hum.ku.dk/gradeast/).

Linguistic Graduate School North has received a grant of DKK 3 million from the Danish Research Agency (FUR, www.forsk.dk) to finance two PhD scholarships.

Linguistic Graduate School North is part of the Balto-Scandinavian network of graduate schools in language and linguistic studies, Nordling.
