What is the International Student Centre?

ISC Koordinator
Have you ever walked across campus or around Århus and noticed all of
those people not speaking Danish? Well if you have you have probably run
into one of the international exchange students, studying at the
University of Aarhus. This semester Århus is home to over one hundred and
fifty international students from all over the world. These students are
all very different but they all have one thing in common, the
International Student Centre or ISC.
The ISC is a place for everyone. Each week the ISC hosts several
different social activities in which anyone may participate. These
activities range from movie night to cookery class to café evening, where
you can enjoy a cold beer and a game of pool. These activities are the
perfect chance to meet new people in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Each month the ISC has many exciting events, which are open to anyone
and everyone. Every Tuesday evening at 20.30 you can come to the ISC for
their weekly Mellow Café. Thursday evenings are also always filled with
exciting events including dance workshops. Many Saturday nights, you will
find our bar rocking to a huge party with many people just having a great
time! It is very simple to be informed on the upcoming events at the ISC.
Just check out our website, read the Magazine, or just watch for the
posters around campus! For more information and a detailed list of all
activities please contact the ISC. Come join in the fun!
